About the Event

From the Altiplano to the streets of La Havana. The concert includes the music of Máximo Diego Pujol, Eduardo Martín, Ástor Piazzolla, Leo Brouwer, among others. Featuring guitarists and Frost School of Music professors Rafael Padron and Federico Musgrove Stetson.
This performance will also feature Angela and Patricia Hernandez, two students at the Frost School of Music, who will open the concert with duos by Astor Piazzolla and Leo Brouwer.
This concert is part of the VI International Guitar Festival, which is a collaboration between the Florida Guitar Foundation and the Frost School of Music.
This performance is presented with the support of the City of Coral Gables, and the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Mayor, and the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners.
