First Round Submissions

Submit your first round application video link here. Only fully completed forms with details will be accepted. Be sure you have paid your application fee before and enter your order number for your payment when submitting this form.

Applicants MUST introduce themselves at the start of the video and state that “this video is my submission for the 1st round of the 2020 Florida Guitar Foundation guitar competition. 

The introduction MUST be part of the unedited video. Participants are not allowed to add an introduction to the video of the performance.

Video Title must follow this template:

2020 Florida Guitar Foundation Competition – Competitor’s name – Division

Your video should have the following information in the video description:

This is my application video for the 1st round of the 2020 Florida Guitar Foundation Competition
Division
Competitor’s country of origin
Name of Repertoire performed:
Piece 1. [time stamp 00:00 – piece title – composer]
Piece 2. [time stamp 00:00 – piece title – composer]
Etc.

The deadline for first round submissions is Sunday, August 23rd, 2020 at 12 pm EST.

Semifinal and Final Rounds

Competitors advancing to the next rounds of the competition will be contacted directly and given specific instructions for their final submissions.

By applying for the Virtual 2020 Florida Guitar Foundation International Guitar Competition, applicants assign full rights and unequivocal consent of use of all submitted recordings (audio and video), as well as their personal information (full name, email address, portrait and voice) to Florida Guitar Foundation to allow for the production and distribution of content for any purpose across any medium globally. Applicants unequivocally agree that they shall make no claim against Florida Guitar Foundation for any matter in relation to the Florida Guitar Foundation International Guitar Competition.
