Live Open Mic during Twilight Fridays at the Coral Gables Museum

It’s been a year since our last in-person event, and guess what? We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with the Coral Gables Museum to host our Open Mics! Yes, the Florida Guitar Foundation’s in-person Open Mic is back! Beginning on March 5th, the Coral Gables Museum will open its doors to the public for free from 6-8 pm each first Friday of the month, and our open mics will take place during these Twilight Fridays. ⁠Come on out and enjoy live music, the museum’s exhibitions, and a cash bar for your Friday night plans!

The Florida Guitar Foundation is inviting all guitarists in the community to our next Open Mic. Join us once again for our monthly classical guitar open mic session! This event is free and open to the public and all are welcome. Whether you are an enthusiast, a beginner, or just love music, we’d love to see you in the audience.

If you play classical guitar or another similar fingerstyle, we invite you to bring your instrument and get on stage! We have had a lot of great impromptu performances in the past. Our audiences create a supportive, low-pressure environment in which to hone your performance skills or try out that new piece you’ve been working on. If you know someone who would like to come, share this event! We hope to see you there!
