In this lecture, Dr. Bráulio Bosi discusses Guitar Technique and Injury Prevention

Born in Colatina, Espirito Santo, Brazil Dr. Bráulio Bosi has been playing guitar for 15 years, starting at the age of 13. He has won multiple instrumental awards and performed in many venues, theater productions, festivals and concerts throughout Brazil and the United States.

Dr. Bosi researches in the field of performing arts medicine and has co-authored a book on musician’s health entitled “The Musician’s Health in Focus: Multiple Perspectives” as well as a published dissertation and multiple articles on the same topic of an injury free career.

Dr. Bosi is currently the guitar instructor at the prestigious Conservatory of Music and Dance of the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
